We’ve been part of STEM for the past two years, and our children (now 4 and 2) have learned so much during that time. We’re always impressed by the things they come home knowing — they’re truly ahead of expectations for their ages. We’ve had some wonderful teachers who have cared deeply for our kids and supported their development every day. It’s clear that the staff take pride in helping children thrive. STEM Daycare has been a good fit for our child. The staff is kind and our child has been comfortable there, which is important to us. They have great play areas and daily activities for all ages. We’ve had two kids at STEM over the last year and are happy with the overall experience. STEM’s long daily operating hours, nutritious meals, acceptance of UPK, and limited holiday schedule are extremely convenient for working parents (and we’ve found that they provide one of the best daycare schedules around Castle Rock). Our children were able to develop strong, lasting relationships with a number of teachers and friends at STEM. I can’t recommend STEM Childcare enough — they’ve truly made our experience wonderful! 🌟 My son feels safe and loved. I really appreciate the picture and video updates throughout the day — it’s so reassuring to see my son happy, exploring, and having a great time. The teachers — Miss Lisa, and Miss Jordy — have been amazing. ( Love them! )They were so kind and patient helping my little one transition, especially during those emotional drop-offs. We are beyond thankful for STEM - first of all, they were the only daycare that I saw that had a real emphasis on learning. I was so happy to see that their teachers as well are vetted for and I know they can't help turnover because being a teacher is a hard job, but I was really so intrigued to see teachers there for multiple years (something that is rare these days). I believe that STEM has the best learning opportunity and nurturing for our son. He has been really thriving. Is a happy and energetic little boy and very social. As first-time grandparents, we couldn't be more grateful for STEM Child Care in Castlerock, where our grandchildren, Layla (age 4) and CJ (age 2), are growing and thriving. The teachers continually impress us with their warmth, creativity, and energy. It's clear that every day the children are being thoughtfully exposed to science, technology, engineering, and math in ways that spark curiosity and joy. Who would have known that a 2 year old can recite his numbers with such confidence and pride. It made us smile. One of the features we love most is the use of Brightwheel. Being able to see daily narratives and photos of what our grandchildren are doing makes us feel connected, even from afar. It's such a gift to be able to ask them about a specific activity they did that day--and to see their beautiful little faces in action truly makes our day. The meals provided are healthy and balanced, and we appreciate that the children are encouraged to develop their self-feeding skills. The outdoor play spaces are very large, seem very safe, and are filled with fresh air and gorgeous views--an environment that feels just right for exploration and play. In my opinion, this school provides the perfect combination of nurturing care and high-quality education that I wanted for my own children at that age and I have no reservations about recommending it to families in their area.
